Wave Swimmers compete at GWOC MEET

The Wave swimmers swam in the GWOC Conference meet on Sunday. The girls finished 13th and the boys were 11th. Zach Toman broke his record in the 100 breaststroke finishing 10th and 13th in the 200 Individual Medley. Megan Foley finished 8th in the 50 Freestyle and 14th in the 100 Freestyle. Sarah Green finished 16th in the 50 Freestyle. Participating in relays scoring points for the Wave were: Foley, Green, Toman, Macayla Mendoza, Jackie Kensinger, Brandon Myers, Jacob Clark, Andrew Cech, Emily Hayes, Jessie Dorsten, Bailey Haworth, Calen Bruner, Tyler Trick and Cylas Conway.

The Wave swimmers participated in the GWOC North meet on Saturday. The girls finished third and the boys finished fourth. Megan Foley finished second in the 50 and 100 freestyle. Zach Toman finished first in the 100 Breaststroke and second in the 200 Individual Medley. Sarah Green finished fifth in the 50 Freestyle. Megan, Sarah and Zach qualified to swim their individual events at the All Conference meet along with all relays.
Other top 8 finishers were: Macayla Mendoza- 4th and 6th, Leah Lewis- 6th and 7th, Jackie Kensinger 7th and 7th, Cylas Conway 7th, and Brandon Myers 8th and 8th.
The girls 200 Medley Relay of Mendoza, Kensinger, Foley and Green finished 2nd.
