All about the Grandparents—Woodland Primary
This week has been all about grandparents at Woodland Primary!! We have hosted some of the finest grandparents around for our annual grandparent nights. We kicked the week off with kindergarteners and their grandparents Monday night. Then Tuesday night we celebrated first graders and their grandparents. We wrapped it up Thursday with Second graders and their grandparents. Students and their grandparents visited classrooms, shopped at the book fair and enjoyed some cookies and punch. We are so honored to have had the opportunity to share with students and families! Thank you for all your support of Woodland students and staff!

DRIVE TO VICTORY --THANK YOU!
Thanks to all staff and families that supported our "Drive To Victory" Campaign. We pulled out the win in the campaign Greenville vs. West Carrollton. We set a new record by over 7,000 lbs! Not only will we receive scholarship money, but we also helped in a community service effort for Goodwill Easter Seals that will help those in our community with disabilities. Congratulations Greenville for pulling together as a school and community!!

THANK YOU WALMART
There were some special guests this Friday afternoon at Woodland's Monthly Staff Meeting. Three WalMart Employees Matt Arnold, Josh Wagner, and Holly Baker came and they brought some special gifts. They said they came to say "Thank You". They brought cake, punch and gift bags for 20 lucky teachers. They drew 20 names out of a jar. Each of the 20 teachers got a gift bag stuffed with super gifts and supplies as well as a $50 gift card for WalMart. The staff really enjoyed sharing the time with community members who were there to say "Thanks!" Thank you WalMart from your friends at Woodland!!!
