East School Spelling BEE

After thirty hard fought rounds, Chloe Freeman emerged as the winner of the East 2012 Spelling Bee. Caiden Lutz was the runner up. Jacob Watson will serve as the alternate should Chloe or Caiden not be able to fulfill their duty at the District Bee on January 16, 2013 at Memorial Hall. The students would like to thank their respective language arts teachers for their love and support, Mrs. Baker and Mrs. Heitkamp. On behalf of the 27 spellers, we would like to thank Mrs. Thomas, Mrs. Holm, Mrs. Lee, and Mrs. Duncan for organizing and judging the bee.
