The 8th grade football team had a valiant fourth quarter comeback but lost to Sidney last night 16-10. Drake Peters ran for a touchdown and Garrett Griffin ran for the two-point conversion. The team finished the season 2-6.
The seventh grade football team won an outstanding come-from-behind game last night. Scoring for the boys was Clay Guillozet with a 60-yard touchdown run. Then with less than 3 minutes Codi Byrd threw a 70-yard touchdown bomb to Clay Guillozet to tie the game at 14-14. The play of the night came from Dylan Kolb when he broke five tackles to get the two-point conversion to give the Wave a 16-14 come-from-behind win.
