Once East third grade students have learned all the multiplication facts, they are quizzed by the principal. If successful, the student earns a t-shirt stating "I had the TIMES of my life at EAST SCHOOL." A celebration dance is then performed and pictures are taken. This is quite an accomplishment for the students!!
To date, nine third graders have mastered learning the multiplication facts. All nine of the students have Mrs. Leas as a math instructor:
