These track athletes qualified for the regional track meet, Paige Keller in the long jump, Chloe Warvel in the 1600, Aaron LeCount in the 400, and the boys 4 X 400 relay of Griffen Kirk, Dillon Hesson, Tim Harless, and Aaron LeCount.

Local Church Volunteers to help Middle School Students







This year the Presbyterian Church volunteered to come into the After School Program at South Middle school to help tutor and prepare students for the Ohio Achievement Assessment taken the last week in April. There were 21 volunteers who gave an hour of their time once a week for a nine week period. Students were very excited to have their own personal one on one tutor. Thank you to all who volunteered, your hard work made a big impact on our students!

Boys Tennis WINS GWOC SILVER TENNIS TOURNAMENT

Congratulations to the varsity boys tennis team for winning the GWOC Silver Tennis Tournament on Saturday. Dylan Onoz finished in 5th place at 3rd singles, Zaid Essak finished 4th place at 1st singles and Kent Holmes placed 2nd in second singles. Both doubles teams were tournament champions, as Landen Kiser and Jonathan Jetter won first doubles and Chase Strawser and Sam Bowers won second doubles.

FFA Places 2nd

The FFA Equine judging team of Ivy Berger, Chelsea Wintrow, Rachel Bolyard, and Madison Schatz earned 2nd place out of 300 teams in the state of Ohio at the State Finals last week. It was a first in Greenville FFA history for an Equine team. The group is advised by Mr. John Guttadore.

High School Sports Update

The boys tennis team is now 7-7 after defeating Middletown Madison 4-1 last night. Kent Holmes and Dylan Onoz won their singles matches while Landen Kiser/Jonathan Jetter and Chase Strawser/Sam Bowers won their doubles matches.

The varsity softball team beat Sidney last night to end the GWOC season undefeated.
